I was born over 50 years ago. My biological sex is male and I live as a man. I fit the ethnicity category white. Official documentation says my nationality is British. I have always lived in the place called England.
I have learned that I don’t know enough to avoid harming others and it is hard to overcome how I am perceived. Everybody has a different perspective. Listening to others makes relations between people better.
My career has been mostly working for organisations for social benefit rather than for making financial profit. That has involved a lot of trying to work out what people need from what has been said by them or others and a lot of trying to get people to understand and support what is needed. In other worlds, I have lived in the modern world of saying and meaning making, in a Western liberal context focused on achieving social good. A partial view.

In 2016 I decided to work for a world without borders, for globalised politics and an end to the nation-state. This site represents progress. I hope it will lead to global dialogue and changed politics.
